DEPUTY MANAGER OF TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT (MEP)

• Design Management: Participate in establishing design briefs; monitor and review MEP design documentation (including power, lighting, ELV, water supply and drainage, HVAC, fire fighting and prevention, wastewater treatment, etc.) to ensure compliance with current regulations, standards, and investment strategies. Propose optimal technical solutions for functionality, investment cost, and operational efficiency.

• Project Supervision: Represent the Developer in managing quality, progress, safety, costs, and construction volume of MEP categories. Coordinate with the Project Management Board, supervision consultants, and contractors to ensure execution adheres to approved designs, methodologies, and standards. Control materials, equipment, installation, testing, and commissioning (T&C).

• Testing & Commissioning: Participate in the inspection and acceptance of MEP systems; review as-built drawings and O&M manuals. Coordinate commissioning activities, fire safety approvals, and support the handover process to the operations unit, ensuring stable and safe system performance.

• Cost & Procurement Control: Coordinate the control of quantities, payments, and final accounts for MEP packages. Participate in technical evaluations for selecting contractors and equipment suppliers; monitor the efficiency of equipment usage relative to project investment goals.

• Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with relevant departments throughout the project lifecycle. Prepare periodic and ad-hoc reports regarding progress, quality, and technical risks in MEP. Perform other duties as assigned by management or the Board of General Directors.

1. Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Heat & Refrigeration Engineering, Water Supply & Drainage, or related fields.

• Deep understanding of current MEP technical codes and standards; preference given to candidates holding professional practice certificates as per regulations.

2. Experience

• Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in MEP for construction projects, preferably with direct involvement in Real Estate projects (Residential, Apartments, Mixed-use complexes, Commercial & Services, etc.).

• Proven experience in design management, construction supervision, testing, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems.

3. Knowledge & Technical Skills

• Mastery of MEP systems (HVAC, Fire Fighting, ELV, Wastewater treatment, Water supply and drainage, etc.).

• Proficiency in reading technical drawings and understanding MEP construction methodologies.

• Experience working with consultants, contractors, and authorities regarding project permitting and acceptance procedures.

• Proficiency in specialized software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and Microsoft Office.

4. Soft Skills

• Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

• Organizational skills with the ability to track progress and solve technical issues on-site.

• Ability to prepare and present technical reports clearly and concisely.
